“Never Trumpers”

The anarchist spirit of the “Never Trump” movement in our society is not only a challenge to our democracy, but also an act of defiance against the will of “We The People”.

The ability of real-time mass communications coupled with intrusive social media platforms gives radicals an opportunity to organize and foment a revolutionary ideology that is borderline hysteria. Pairing a spirit of rebellion with a general public’s ignorance of America’s history and our Constitutional form of government and the stage is set for an erosion of our laws and individual liberties.

Like sheep led to the slaughter, many young Americans are blindly following socialist anarchists bent on eroding the underpinnings of our republic and destroying America.

The 45th President Needs Your Help!

We have a new president, but the heart of the matter is still a problem of the heart.

Like many I know, I have optimism for these United States I have not known since the Reagan years. Rather than the “mandy pandy”, metropolitan male leaders who have led our nation for two decades, it appears America finally has a president who refuses to speak in Orwellian tones of political correctness and is not afraid to charge into the fray of Washington politics.

Donald Trump’s election and his inauguration speech appears to solidify he actually has the gall and fortitude to institute as policy the promises he made to the American people during his run for President. Already the media, liberals, and progressive Republicans are in an uproar that we have a President who appears determined to put the interests of America—FIRST!

The fact so many, perhaps even a majority, in places of leadership and influence in our country are shaken by a “Make America Great Again” ideology should be a cause of alarm to the American citizenry. The diatribe launched against President Trump by the media following his inaugural speech should raise alarm in the heartland of the USA. Using their public platform into American homes, the liberal media is desperate to paint the new President as “Hitlerian”, anti-Semitic, comparing the new administration to Nazi German of the 1930’s before Trump has been in office 24 hours.

Why such a desperate, imbecilic attempt to delegitimize President Trump before he has crossed the threshold into the Oval office? Who are these antagonists of the American spirit? From whence has this anti-America sentiment come?

It is my opinion the moral and political cancer that has diminished our nation over the last 50 years had its infancy in our secular schools and has slowly metastasized into every institution of our country, including our homes, churches, schools, civic groups, and the public media. While average Americans were tolerant and silent, the liberal left was taking seats of leadership as school board members, city and county commissioners, school administrators and teachers, law enforcement, judgeships, state and federal offices, and government bureaucracy from the bottom to the top. As we observed during the Obama years, government bureaucrats and the institutions they represent have become adversaries of the very constituency they are to serve.

We have a new president and I am praying for his safety as he battles an entrenched, adversarial, amoral political class in Washington, DC; however, the election of Donald Trump will be nothing more than a reprieve if we, the American people fail to confront those same enemies in our homes (via media), churches, schools, and local and state governments.

More than a new president, America needs a spiritual awakening, a fresh stirring of conviction and repentance that begins in the hearts of God’s people.

IMPRESSED SO FAR WITH TRUMP’S HIGH LEVEL APPOINTMENTS

So far it appears President-elect Donald Trump is keeping his promises to the American people and appointing true conservatives to high-level cabinet positions.

PRINCIPLES AND PROMISES, NOT PERSONALITY, DIRECTED MY VOTE FOR TRUMP

The rejoicing and the uproar over Donald Trump’s election in these post-election days is both amusing and heart-breaking.

I am amused that the media and liberal Democrats express outrage that “white evangelicals” voted for the president-elect and tout his “baggage” to justify their anger and resentment for the “basket of deplorables” who cast their vote for him in record numbers. Be assured, like most conservative Republican voters, I am under no delusion that Donald Trump is a religious messiah or America’s political savior. The administrations that precede the Trump administration have not been models of virtue and I will not be looking to Washington, DC for moral leadership.

It is heart-breaking that there is a great divide in our nation between those who voted for Hillary Clinton and those who voted for Donald Trump. The liberal media and Democrats have assailed Trump voters and suggested the root cause for the divide is race, gender, education, and “white prejudice\privilege”. I don’t pretend to speak for all Trump voters; however, none of those insinuations are on my political radar screen. My vote was fundamentally driven by principles derived from my Christian worldview and love for this nation.

Donald Trump is the president-elect, not because he is a model of spiritual or moral virtue, but because the only other viable option was Hillary Clinton whose political platform was adversarial and diametrically opposed to my worldview.

Hillary vowed to continue progressive policies that are destroying our nation; Trump promised to uphold Constitutional freedoms and appoint Supreme Court justices who will follow the founders’ intent in our nation’s founding documents.

Hillary’s desire to continue the erosion of our nation’s sovereignty and her opposition to securing our southern border was polar opposite to Trump’s commitment to “Build the Wall”, stop the flow of illegal immigrants, and establish a system of vetting.

Hillary’s embrace of radical groups that promote lawlessness, demean law enforcement, and risk anarchy gave law-abiding, patriotic Americans who respect the rule of law no choice other than Trump.

Hillary’s affirmation of “partial-birth abortion” in the third debate horrified many Democrats, while Trump championed a pro-life stance for the unborn.

Hillary’s diminution of American exceptionalism and her globalist view of the world at the sacrifice of hard-working Americans was an unacceptable backdrop for Trump’s commitment and invitation to “Make America Great Again”.

No, I am not a poor, deluded, hate-filled, prejudiced, white evangelical who has abandoned spiritual and moral principles. I am a color-blind, Bible-believing Christian who loves America and longs to see the spiritual and political virtues that made her great restored as guiding principles for our homes, churches, schools, and government. I want our federal, state, and local governments, and the bureaucracies that oppress our freedoms, to get out-of-the-way and allow individual freedoms to ring once again. I want to see political correctness vanquished and common sense restored. I long for an unhyphenated-America that is “one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”.

I long to see America great again and pray president-elect Donald Trump will keep his promises and prove worthy of my trust.

ANTI-TRUMP RIOTS IN AMERICA’S CITIES

I declared in an earlier post on my “Heart of a Shepherd” blog, that the election of Donald Trump is nothing more than a reprieve in an ongoing war for the heart and soul of our nation.

The SWAMP, the label President-elect Donald Trump aptly gave Washington, DC, is facing a change of administrations; however, the Left is not defeated nor has it retreated from their war against our democracy and the American people.

Christians must accept we cannot legislate a change of heart for this nation. America needs a spiritual awakening, an old-fashioned revival that begins in hearts, homes and churches. I fear churches and Bible believing Christians will, following Donald Trump’s successful run for the presidency, retreat to their lethargy and spiritual complacency only to face a greater assault on our Constitutional liberties, religious freedom, and moral values in four years.

Recent WikiLeaks emails exposed what we all suspected…the riots and attacks on law enforcement in our inner cities was a coordinated effort to disrupt and encourage lawlessness. Already, we are witnessing a rise of anti-Trump demonstrations. Encouraged and funded by the likes of billionaire George Soros, the Left, rather than retreat, is rallying its militant groups to disrupt the peace of our nation and foment anarchy. The demographics of the militant groups differ; however, the leadership of Black Lives Matter (BLM), LGTBQ parties, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Communist Party, and sundry other groups share one passion… weakening this nation and silencing any who oppose them.

If we are to see America turn back from Political Correctness and its courtship with leftist anti-God, anti-Christian, anti-family, anti-marriage, anti-life, and anti-democracy policies, our churches, pastors, and homes must become bold in our faith and witness. We do not have the luxury to retreat; we must take the high spiritual and moral ground of a God-fearing people and confess we have failed to be the pure salt and undiminished light Christ commanded His Church to be in this world of darkness.

The Political Left’s Feigned Outrage Over Trump’s Words

STOP IT! While so many of you are posturing outrage over Donald Trump’s words on a secret recording (and I agree, his words were a juvenile pig trough of Junior High locker room foolishness); threatening or assuming you have any other option is either political ignorance or stupidity. THE SAD REALITY IS–AMERICA IS ON THE POLITICAL CLIFF OF MORAL DEBACLE IF WE SUFFER 8 MORE YEARS OF LEFTIST DOCTRINE.

The only reason Trump is at the head of the Republican ticket is because our Washington politicians long ago betrayed conservative values and principles. Paul Ryan, John McCain, Mitch McConnell, and the Bush clan can protest Trump all they want…However, they are the problem that created a rebellion against the Republican establishment.

Even Tea Party politicians betrayed us…Marco Rubio arrived in Washington and the first thing he did was hold hands with Chuck Schumer and the Gang of 8…

Yes, I share your disgust; however, we have to deal with reality and not be divided the way Hillary and the Democrats are desperately wanting.

Hillary Clinton is no longer a political chameleon…she is a bold, in your face, leftwing socialist. She is an enemy of moral values and Constitutional liberties. Her agenda is fraught with godlessness and immorality. She is the antithesis of American liberty and her agenda for appointing left-wing Supreme Court justices should strike fear in the #NeverTrump, #AntiTrump citizenry. Continue down this path and we will lose our nation forever!

A Tragic Conspiracy We Will All Live to Regret

When you hear the shrill cries of American mothers whose children have become victims to “Refugee terrorists”, remember George Soros, the Democratic Party, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

If you wonder “Who” and “What” is behind the radical liberalism of the Democratic Left, you need look no further than George Soros, a tired old Billionaire bent on destroying America’s heritage with his damnable, all-inclusive, Globalistic agenda.

George Soros funds “Black Lives Matters” and its radical leadership that makes a full-time job for social activists who go into communities provoking riots. George Soros owns Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party and, as you will see in this article, he is also credited with influencing the Supreme Court’s decisions and indecisions that are turning America into a rotting shadow of her past greatness.

George Soros is also a big financier of the so-called “Refugee Immigration” flow through Europe, many of who are destined to end up in the USA; some of who are coming to eventually create havoc, death, and destruction.

The Dirty Secret of the Democratic Party

Americans growing up in today’s public education system haven’t a clue the Democratic party has been, in the words of liberal pontificators, “on the wrong side of history” for 150 years.

You are terribly mistaken if you are an ethnic or racial minority and believe the Democratic party is your champion; just the opposite is true!

One of the great failures of the Republican party for the last half-century has been its inability to state the true historical narrative that Republicans, not Democrats, have championed equal rights for ethnic and racial minorities. For those who are not history buffs, Hillary’s public acknowledgement that it was the party of Abraham Lincoln, the Republican party, not the Democratic party that freed slaves my come as a shock.

It was Abraham Lincoln, a Republican President who declared the slaves free, not a Democrat. It was the Democratic party of George Wallace, the four-time Governor of Alabama, who led the resistance against integration and fought to continue racial prejudice.

When Democratic President Lyndon Johnson, the 36th president of the United States, championed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, he had to turn to the Republican Party to pass the legislation (80% of Republicans and only 60% of Democrats in Congress were in favor of the bill). Democrats continued the same pattern of prejudice in 1965 when the Voting Rights Act was passed with 82% of House Republicans voting in favor of the bill compared to 73% of Democrats. The same was true in the Senate with 94% of Republicans vs. 73% of Democrats supporting extending the right to vote to minorities.

The Democratic media machine and its political puppets have hijacked historical facts and positioned the party as the champion of minorities; however, history reveals the Democrats were the perpetrators of slavery and prejudice, and are the slave masters of 21st century welfare dependence. A vote for Hillary Clinton and her party not only perpetuates the myth the Democrats are for the poor and down-trodden, but ultimately threatens to enslave us all should she become president and appoints future Supreme Court justices.

Mr. President, you bear responsibility for inflaming racial hatred.

I am sickened by this President’s penchant of marching in the blood of the slain to make political points!

Call me cynical, but I am becoming of the opinion some of the tragedies assailing our nation seem to come on the heels of bad political news for the President and his party (i.e. Hillary Clinton’s email scandals, her shameless, undeniable lies to the American public, the spineless FBI Director’s “investigation”, and the Attorney General’s dereliction of duty).

This White House seems to practice the political philosophy of Rahm Emanuel, former chief of staff for the president and currently the mayor of bloody Chicago, who has stated, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

In my opinion, the President has spent 7.5 years race baiting the black community and, instead of the peace and unity he promised, he has precipitated the ethnic, class, and race hating our nation is experiencing. The president has repeatedly assailed the character of our law enforcement, making politically charged statements before there was evidence to support his assertions of racial bias.

Are there “bad cops” in blue? Absolutely; however, it is reckless and irresponsible to assail the character of the men and women in blue when they risk their lives everyday upholding the law.

Mr. President, if you want to be a crusader for right and justice, instead of attacking law enforcement, tell the fools who refuse to obey the instructions of police officers and resist arrest they are doing so at the risk of their lives.

The Problem is, We Dare Not Trust Washington Politicians, Democratic or Republican!

Let’s be honest, the problem is patriotic Americans no longer trust any of our elected officials to be fair, just and equitable in making or enforcing the law.

The Obama White House is lawless, refusing to enforce the immigration laws of the nation and instead imports the very ones who have vowed to destroy us.

The Democratic party is Socialist at best, but I suspect many are closet Communists.

The Republicans, like Paul Ryan, are more than willing to play Obama’s game and have refused to stand up to an administration that is threatening our liberties.

We are economic slaves to ObamaCare, bureaucratic regulations, and policies that have sent our jobs overseas and forced working adults to take minimum wage jobs while half of America bellies up to the pig trough of government subsidies.

Do we want “terrorists” to purchase guns, kill and maim our citizens? What a foolish question!

The problem is, we do not trust Washington politicians to not tread under foot our Constitutional freedoms…especially the likes of Paul Ryan! One can only imagine the disaster if Democrats gain control of the House and\or Senate and Hillary goes to the White House.

Next year we may be singing “God Save America”, not “God Bless America”!
